Buckles is in charge of the guard duty of Peg's orchids.
Although he lives with Peg and Bill he loves to go and visit Peggy and Tom when he gets the chance.

As you can see by the above photos Buckles has a keen sense of responsibility while maintaining an ever alert posture in carrying out his duties as the guardian of the yard and orchids.

Buckles also functions as quality control for the families food and dessert. He is ever diligent in his duties and keeps the family safe from unnecessary calories and harmful foods. He would sacrifice himself by eating this piece of cake instead of letting one of his beloved family members suffer from its effects.
